Bassem Youssef is a Board Member of Klivvr and the Chief Financial Officer of Orascom Financial Holding (OFH).
Prior to joining Klivvr and OFH, Bassem was the Chief Financial Officer of SETA, a fashion manufacturing, and retail group. He was also part of the Accelero Capital team, an investment and management group targeting telecommunications, digital media, and technology (TMT).
Additionally, Bassem held the position of Planning Director at Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH), where he was responsible for strategy, business planning, and pricing for mobile and fixed operations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Before joining OTH, Bassem was heading the budgeting and planning team during OTH's launch of the first mobile operator in Iraq. He was also part of the Corporate Strategy team at Mobinil, one of Egypt’s leading telecommunications operators.
Bassem worked for Allied Business Consultants, a consultancy firm. With KPMG Barents Group LLC and Carana Corporation, he handled different projects with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). He was also a researcher for A.M.E.R World Research Limited, an affiliate of Dun & Bradstreet International in England.
Bassem holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, a minor in Management, and an MBA from Maastricht University in Cairo.
